• Rescheduled Joint Meeting of Democrats of Chelan County, Douglas County Democrats, and 12th Legislative District Democrats.  Wednesday, January 13, 2021, 6:00 PM:    The agenda will include a presentation by Community Action Council staff regarding local food banks and community food security needs, a welcome to our newly elected LD12 leadership, and regular business.  PCOs and all Democrats are welcome.  

• NCW Community Food Drive:  In celebration of the Presidential/Vice Presidential inauguration, and given the risks involved with public gatherings (both from COVID19 and the political climate) we have opted for an alternate form of recognizing the historic transition of power this year. The Biden/Harris inaugural committee has asked their supporters to organize a community event as part of a National Day of Service. We are pleased to announce that the NCW Democrats have partnered with our friends in Chelan, Douglas, Okanogan, and Grant counties - and many other non-profits in our area - to host an area-wide food drive. We will be asking our members to donate to one of three regional food programs. Please click the link below to sign up as a participant of this special event. When you sign up you will receive instructions and a link to a donation page. When you make your donation, don't forget to indicate which of the many local organizations and food banks you'd like to support!  All monies (or gift cards) will go to the food banks to help provide more food secure homes during this difficult time.  Consider a generous donation, especially if you received a stimulus check that is surplus to your needs. 

• Join with NCW Democrats and Friends to celebrate the inauguration of President-elect Joseph Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris!  Wednesday, January 20, Zoom room will open at 8:30 AM; Inauguration Swearing-In will take place at 12:01 PM on the dot!

• Take a Democratic "Coffee Break"  Join with other Democrats any Tuesday between 11:00 am and noon, for a Zoom event.  Gathering provides an unstructured hour of conversation and discussion about topics of interest and upcoming events.  Drop in for an hour or a few minutes to meet other Dems!  RSVP for link HERE (https://forms.gle/9zjFsV4v64c6CQY97).
