It's time to celebrate our hard work electing Democrats up and down the ballot. We appreciate your willingness to help continue the work of the Democratic Party in Douglas County!

This is a reminder that our Douglas County Democrats' Virtual Zoom Reorganization Meeting is THIS SATURDAY, Dec 12, 2020, at 10:00 AM.  The purpose of this meeting is to elect officers for the 2020-2022 biennium .   We are happy to report that, as of our advertised Dec 8, 11:59 PM deadline for nominations, at least one person filed to run for each of the officer positions!  (Well, to be honest, only one person filed for each position.  More about that below.) 

Though we had planned for contested races, there being none means that our reorganization procedures are simplified – mostly in NOT needing to use complex Google voting forms for voting members, and YouTube livestream for non-voting members.  We’re happy to announce that all who wish to attend are invited to join the reorganization Zoom meeting, with the understanding that only 2020-2022 elected PCOs will be permitted to vote for officers.

Please join us Saturday to celebrate our recent election success and hear a little bit about plans for 2020-2022 .  Although not required in order for you to attend, if you haven't already responded to our emails or calls, please RSVP here:  https://forms.gle/ZsXspkSbYMzMqr5W8.  You may join the meeting as early as 9:50 AM.  We expect to start the formal meeting fairly promptly at 10:00 AM and anticipate the length will be less than one hour.
