There are no limits to the number of terms one may serve. o Saturday, March 24, 10a start time, location tba: Every two years, in every county and legislative district around WA state, we hold a caucus and a county convention. In presidential election years, the caucus serves the purpose of allowing you to discuss the attributes of the presidential candidates and elect delegates/alternates to carry your voice to the state and national Democratic Party. This year, we have no presidential election, but we do have a caucus. At the caucus, Democrats will gather to elect a small number of delegates (2 for Chelan, 1 for Douglas Co) who will attend the WA-Dem State Convention on June 17-18. The work delegates do at the state convention is to adopt the WA-Dem State Party platform for 2018-2019. All Democrats are welcome to participate. The other work conducted on that date is the updating and adoption of our local county Democratic Party platform. Again, you are welcome to participate.
