Dear Democrats and Friends, 

We’ve pushed through a year+ of really challenging times.  Many of our elected officials have met the wall of our resistance.  Our persistent voices have brought about positive change.   

The 2018 mid-term elections are right around the corner.  Excellent candidates are emerging to represent us – at all levels of government.   It’s time to RISE and Organize--together!   Keep your sleeves rolled up--there's work to do. 

THIS WEEK: 

·         TODAY! Meet CD8 candidate, DR SHANNON HADER, Monday Feb 5, 4—5p at Saddle Rock Pub (lower level, 25 N Wenatchee Ave, Wen).  Come shake her hand and hear about her plans to work for us in Congress!  (Shannon has a full day of meetings in our area today, so please plan to be at Saddle Rock a few minutes early!  If you cannot make this event, Shannon will also attend an evening meet-n-greet at 5:30 sponsored by Indivisible Wenatchee) 

 

 

​In the weeks and months ahead, there’ll be opportunities to meet each of the candidates who wish to represent us—in both the 8^th and 4^th CDs.  Please take the time to come meet them, ask questions, become better informed about who you feel will represent us best.  Make a donation of time and $$.  Running a campaign is expensive and your $5 or $100 will buy gas, media time, pay a staffer, and more.  Then, get involved and help us turn out every VOTE (8/7 Primary Election, 11/6 GENERAL ELECTION). 

·         TOMORROW—Take a Democratic “Coffee Break” at Pybus Mkt, Tuesday, Feb 6, 10a—noon (drop in for a few minutes or stay longer), 

·         WEDNESDAY—Joint General Meeting of 12^th LD Dems/Dems of Chelan Co/Douglas Co Dems: Wednesday Feb 7, 6:30p social/7p meeting, Douglas County Fire District #2 Meeting Room, 377 Eastmont Ave, E Wenatchee (details to follow).
