Bring friends—let’s show her how happy we are that she’s running! Meet-n-greet reception, comments by Kim, Q&A. If you cannot make this event, Kim expects to attend a future NCWDem General Meeting—watch for updates. In the weeks and months ahead, there’ll be opportunities to meet each of the candidates who wish to represent us—in both the 8th and 4th CDs. Please take the time to come meet them, ask questions, become better informed about who you feel will represent us best. Make a donation of time and $$. Running a campaign is expensive and your $5 or $100 will buy gas, media time, pay a staffer, and more. Then, get involved and help us turn out every VOTE for the 8/7 Primary Election and the 11/6 GENERAL ELECTION. · MONDAY Feb 19, noon—1:30p —Join a PRESIDENT’S DAY GATHERING at Memorial Park, Wenatchee. Hosted by multiple local groups, “bring signs, energy and voices. Let's have a vigil and share what we stand for. All are welcome and we hope it will be peaceful, positive, powerful and good therapy !” · TUESDAY Feb 20, 10a—noon —Take a Democratic “Coffee Break” at Pybus Mkt (near “Ice” restaurant), drop in for a few minutes or stay an hour to discuss politics and learn about upcoming events. · THURSDAY Feb 22, 5—7p — Join others for a “Taste O’ Politics,” a no-host happy-hour event at Jones Tasting Room, Pybus Market. Meet and share with other Dems and progressives. All are welcome. More information will be shared in an email tomorrow night. Watch for opportunities to learn about RISE & Organize, voter registration drives and tables, fundraising at Nason Creek Rest Area, sign up for summer picnics and fairs, help host small and big events to support our candidates. Prepare to file as PCO for your precinct (check with us to see if your precinct is vacant)—learn how to do the job by attending a PCO training.
