Dear Democrats and Friends,

Our hearts are broken for George Floyd and his family, and for so many others over so much time, for the injustices that exist in our country.  These challenges weigh heavily atop those of the pandemic and this out-of-control administration.  Stress and concern surround us, day and night.  There's no way to sugar-coat it.  THIS is why we need to do the work ahead.

With that in mind, this will be short.  More details will follow in the next few days.

TUESDAY, June 2 Take a Democratic "Coffee Break" with friends.  Join us between 11:00a-noon for a coffee break! General sharing of information and updates, plus we'll be joined by LD12 Democratic candidate Adrianne Moore between 11:40-12. If you've attended before, the Zoom mtg login is the same. WEDNESDAY, June 3 NCW Democrats General Meeting,  6:30p/"Get comfy with Zoom", 7:00p/Meeting. Join a monthly meeting of the central committee members (PCOs) and elected leadership for the Democrats of Chelan and Douglas counties. Generally occurs on the first Wednesday of each month, location may vary.  *During the time of COVID-19 social distancing - meetings will take place in virtual space. Complete this Google form - we'll send the Zoom invitation to you, along with the draft agenda. https://forms.gle/datatg5awL63Uop49  The 060320 agenda will include (but not be limited to) Special Guest Congresswoman Dr Kim Schrier (D, CD8); recommended endorsements of Democratic candidates running for 2020 election, status of recently elected Chelan and Douglas Co Dem PCOs; state/national convention updates; coordinated campaign updates/needs; and regular business.

During the months ahead, volunteer PCOs and others will build teams in every one of the 137 precincts in our two counties. Their goals: help elect Democrats up and down the ballot and find every Democrat and make sure they vote -- first in the August 4 primary election, then on November 3, 2020. Then we'll celebrate a BLUE LETTER DAY for our country and the world.
