Dear NCW Democrats and Friends, 

We’re ramping it up at Dem HQ and throughout NCW, and we’re getting to work.  All we need is you.  There is no effort too small or passion too large for the work we have in front of us.  We all understand just how important it is that we join together in a coordinated effort to rescue our country, our democracy.  We welcome and value your ideas, talents, and time. 

RIGHT NOW: Call us for a list of Democrats to call to make sure they vote in the Presidential Primary Election!  Whether you have 5 min or 5 hours, we can use your help. 

Since our last email, many of us have rallied and marched (thank you, Wenatchee Women’s March and Wenatchee350!);  gathered to watch debates in Cashmere, E Wenatchee, and Manson; we’ve attended town halls with CONGRESS WOMAN DR KIM SCHRIER!; we’ve trained and practiced using some new Democratic Party tools; registered new voters (thank you, Dems of Cashmere, volunteers for CAFÉ, and many others!); we’ve written notes and postcards to voters; knocked on doors and made phone calls to campaign for candidates AND now to Get Out The Vote before March 10.  That’s just the tip of the iceberg.  Our HQ Office is staffed with a team of volunteers who will help drive democratic activism in the months ahead.  Come on down! 

Watch for more frequent updates.  After the election, we’ll share details about the legislative district caucuses and county conventions, etc.  There will be so many opportunities for you to help, in your neighborhood and throughout NCW.  But please make sure to VOTE.

Tuesday 03/03/2020: Take a Democratic “Coffee Break” 10a—noon, at Dem HQ, 768 S Mission, Wenatchee.  Come for all or part of the discussions.  These coffee gatherings happen in Wenatchee on the 1^st and 3^rd Tuesday of each month.  Drop in!  This week, we’ll be joined by reps from the Michael Bloomberg campaign – come to get acquainted and ask a few questions. 

Wednesday 03/04/2020: NCW Democrats General Meeting 6:30p social/7:00p program and meeting, Wenatchee Veteran’s Hall, 504 S Chelan St, Wenatchee.  Agenda will include regular business meeting agenda: election or appointment of local Dems from LD12, Chelan and Douglas county to participate in WA Democratic State Convention organization (Rules, Platform, Credentials committees), review of plans of work and budgets for 2020.  Introduction of special guests, including candidate for the legislature and presidential candidate staff for Mike Bloomberg and Bernie Sanders.  Presentation by Wenatchee for Immigrant Justice members. 

Saturday 03/07/2020: WA State Democrats Warren G Magnuson Dinner, Seattle (raising funds to hire field organizers for 2020 to elect Democrats!) 

Tuesday, 03/10/2020: Presidential Primary Election 8p deadline to register in person at the county elections offices (Wenatchee or Waterville) and/or VOTE. 

Sunday 03/15/2020, 5pm: 11^th Presidential Primary Debate Watch Parties Debate starts at 6p.  Debate starts at 6p.  Cashmere location tbd, and Bob’s Burgers & Brew (E Wen). 

Tuesday 03/17/2020: Take a Democratic “IRISH Coffee Break” 5p—7p, at Wenatchee location to be announced—it’s St Patty’s Day.  Plan to come join us at the parade (if it happens) and for a beverage somewhere! 

March 12 - 20: 2020CENSUS Households will begin receiving official Census Bureau mail with detailed information on how to respond to the 2020 Census online, by phone, or by mail.   2020CENSUS.gov
