2020 Early Jan eNews

posted Jan 13, 2020, 11:16 AM by Douglas County Democrats

Dear NCW Democrats and Friends,

We’ve made it to a new year – some may be surprised that we’ve survived the past 3.  Nevertheless, we wish you happiness in large and small ways and hope that you achieve all of your goals.  We hope that some of your resolutions are the same as ours.  We have work to do together!

Thank you to all who contributed to our successes in 2019: we intended to raise the $$$ to keep our office open, staff it efficiently, conduct trainings and outreach.  We did it!  We thank the candidates who ran for office and their campaign crews, our volunteers and financial supporters, thanks to the event and auction planners, Democratic booth staffers and attendees, to the state committee members who kept us linked with the state party, to the leadership of the WA-Dem State Party and Tina Podlodowski (and her amazing and resourceful staff), to our neighboring county organizations, to Kim Schrier (isn’t she doing an amazing job!) and Dow Constantine and Bob Ferguson, Jay Inslee, Laurie Jinkins, and others who have noticed our efforts and who support us.  It takes a village to accomplish important work and we appreciate each one of you!
