2019 Mid-November eNews

posted Dec 11, 2019, 8:50 AM by Douglas County Democrats

Dear NCW Democrats and Friends,

The 2019 election cycle is now mostly in our rear-view mirror.  Congratulations to candidates who ran for local nonpartisan offices, and to those who will now serve our communities!  A special recognition goes to those candidates who asked to use the resources of the WA State Democratic Party.  We offered these resources of data and training to anyone who personally identifies as a Democrat, regardless of the partisan nature of the office.  We hope the assets provided made their campaign efforts more targeted and effective.  We look forward to working with additional candidates in the future!

What a political week we’ve just experienced.  Congressional impeachment hearings with new disclosures of information, a well-attended annual Democratic dinner, lots of local contact with Congresswoman Schrier and other Party luminaries.  As our dinner committee wraps up final details, we can share that 250+ Democrats attended a great event on 11/9.  We were entertained by the special music of the Saddle Rockers, inspired by young activists, motivated by elected officials, and called to action by our Party chair, Tina Podlodowski.
