Hello, NCW Democrats and Friends,

QUICK SUMMARY:

·         NO GENERAL MEETING TONIGHT!  All efforts now going into voter activation and turnout!  Please volunteer to help.

·         PCO and volunteer workshop tonight and every Wed 6:30-8:30p

·         Canvassing and Phonebanking opportunities every day, everywhere!

·         Voter registration and information opportunities

·         Debate info, watch-parties, more

During the last couple of weeks, we've hosted dozens of phonebanks and canvasses, with volunteers knocking on doors and contacting voters, asking for their commitment to 1) VOTE and 2) to vote for Dems.  We've held a big dinner, hearing from candidates and other inspirational speakers; hosted a successful fundraiser at Nason Creek Rest Area (thank you to the wonderful volunteers and cookie-bakers/donors who raised over $800!); distributed hundreds of signs; trained many PCOs and other volunteers; and networked with allies throughout our area.  The office starts hopping at 10a each day and doesn't close down until 9p.  Feel free to call the Democratic Headquarters Office (509-436-8899), email us, or stop by to offer your support. The coffee is always on.

We now have two full-time field organizers in residence at Dem HQ.  You may receive invitations from them to help elect our great Democrats.  Please say, "YES!"

With just 2 weeks+ until ballots arrive in our mailboxes and a month-and-change until election day, it’s crunch time.  Many PCOs and neighborhood volunteers are leading the effort to turnout voters.  Right now, we’re “nudging” sporadic Dem voters to vote.  After ballots “drop” we’ll contact Dems who haven’t returned their ballots.  There are many ways you can help.

CAMPAIGN NOTES:  We may not turn every neighborhood blue this year, but every Democratic vote we can turn out counts toward getting our Democratic candidates elected -- moving local, state, and US leadership toward Democratic majorities.

·         Coordinated Campaign helping elect all Dems/Cantwell-Schrier-CBrown-Sarratt-Duvall: Contact William Stewart-Wood (253-363-5075,william@wa-democrats.org)  Sign up for canvass or phonebanks: https://www.wa-democrats.org/event/index?page=1  Phonebanking Tues/Thur 5-8p at Dem HQ (or stop by anytime Sun-Thur and we can get you started); Canvass every Sat 11a-3p/Sun 12-4p from Dem HQ; Sun 10/14 12-4p in Chelan; Sat 10/20 in Leavenworth, and from other locations throughout the week. Once you’ve received basic training, you can pick up, or we can send you, a list and you can canvass or phonebank any time that’s convenient for you.  For all candidates, the script is specific and the target voters are strategic.  It’s critical that you work from these lists and that the data be entered into the database quickly to avoid duplication of effort and redundant contacts with voters.  Lists available anytime in the Dem HQ (with tutorial to get you started).

·         Schrier Campaign: Contact Myra Hernandez (206-491-3024, myra@drkimschrier.com) Sign up for canvass or phonebanks: https://secure.ngpvan.com/p/0vxE708gzECUM5CaFu7rLw2?pc=98118&results=True&date_start=06-12-2018.  Myra is eager to help you get to work for Kim!  Canvass every Sat 10a-2p/Sun 12-4p/Wed 5-8p from Dem HQ and from other locations throughout the week.  Myra can create lists for you anytime—lists that can be picked up in our office (we’ll offer tutorial, if desired) or emailed to you.  Phonebank from Dem HQ Tues/Thur 6-8p.  Note that whenever you canvass with the Coordinated Campaign, you also turn out CD8 voters for Kim Schrier!

·         Christine Brown Campaign:  Contact Amanda (509-551- 4277, hello@christinebrownforcongress.com)  OR canvass for the Coordinated Campaign via our office and turn out CD4 voters for Christine!

·         About Campaign SIGNS and Swag:  We have them and more will be coming in soon.  Do you live on a busy corridor or in a neighborhood dominated by Republican swag?  You can make a statement that Dems are alive and well in NCW!  Call or stop by the Dem HQ to request or pick up.  Delivery is possible.
